Top speed will be the least of your worries...and the Savage is faster than 36mph as posted...

i know the savage goes at leat 40mph and prob with the right tuning can go probably 45mph.

The savage will beat the tmaxx and revo off the line but even the SS 4.6 only got to 38 mph (RCCA) with stock gearing.

actually now thinking of it if you want something really fast go for a buggy, way faster and they can be very durable, but thats about all i know about them, so mabee someone else can help you out there.

haha thats funny yea hes right though if you want speed that bad go for that. monsters arent all about speed they are about major bad@$$ MT. so if your looking for speed as i said in an earlier post u might wanna ook into buggies.

I wanted a buggy to start but no one could help me and one or two people said its a waste of money and to go for a stadium truck...

First, get a RTR Losi XXX-NT then move onto 1/8 buggies. Thats what most people do.

Take a look at the Sportwerks mayhem buggy ($550). 2.75 hp engine, great electronics, 48 mph top speed. The new XXXN-T RTR 2 ($350) looks really nice and includes the same electronics as the mayhem. My recommendation still stands with the revo or the savage. Monster trucks are lots of fun on and off the track.
