this is all good stuff all this info saves me the time of doing it myself. although i dont have to do this because all i have to do is ask brian jucha how to fix my problem brian jucha is like a setup master. i think there should be a contest to see who can set up a car the best and the fastest.

TC4 shock towers.
Jason, are the cf shock towers still scheduled sometime for this month or has this project been pushed back?

Jason,
I noticed in one of teamgps pictures that he had motor cooling fan fount for his Xray 05. Is this a BMI product? If so what size fan mounts to it, how much does it cost, and how fast can I get one? Thanks Greg

today i got a chance to do some real testing on the bmi chassis for the fk05. first i started out with my stock chassis 3.0 mm xray. which has a real good setup on it. these are my lap times at s&n trackside.
13.1 12.93 12.4 12.5 12.5 12.8 13.8 12.6 12.8 13. 12.6 12.8 12.8 12.8 12.5 12.7 12.5 12.9 12.5 12.6 12.6 12.6
its a little off pace but there is no bite what so ever.
now here are my lap time after installing the bmi chassis and thats all i changed didnt even cut my motor or put fresh tires on.12.3 11.6 12.0 12.2 12.1 12.3 12.1 12.2 12.1 12.1 12.3 12.2 12.3 12.2 12.2 12.5 12.3 12.7 12.5 12.6 12.4 12.3 12.4 12.3 12.5 12.6 12.5 12.7 12.5 12.5
now let me say that man what an improvement more consistent and faster, yet the car felt the same from one chassis to the other the only difference was that the bmi chassis carried more corner speed.
now here are my lap times with a fresh motor and geared down a tooth.
12.1 11.6 11.7 11.7 11.8 12.1 11.8 12.2 11.9 11.9 12.2 12.1 12.1 12.0 12.0 12.1 12.0 12.2 12.0 12.2 12.4 12.2 12.3 12.4 12.2
the laptimes speaks for itself and let me reiterate that nothing was changed on my setup just rideheight as was needed to keep the car at the same level every run. excellent work jason i cant wait until tuesday night to race. too bad no tracks around me race on the weekends right now its too early. they start weekend racing more towards the winter.none of these numbers were fudged i have the practice print out from the track. i just cant get over that my laptimes dropped that much i would have never thought, maybe 2 tenths or something like that but not 5-8 tenths thats amazing. keep up the good work jason.
