For that price??? Get another STS D3R...this time the new IFMAR version.....plus some magic work from me...you'll be fine with it at the Southamerican IFMAR cup.

Yopu read my mind Alfonso ! ...

Im looking for opinnions on different engines (this weekend i start to use hard the STS engine you sent to me) ...

Depending on my satisfaction over the STS you sent me i will (or not), buy another one ... with 3 months of use i dont know if the new engine i have to get it as a "main engine" or "backup one" ...

As far as im seeing on the STS, you sent me the engine pretty broken inn and prepared for 16% nitro ... i really dont know about your "touch" cause i dont have comparisson vs a stock STS D3R engine ... but with the little use i did on the engine it shows a lot of power (specially torque) ... a friend who went to USA bought me 2 pinnions (the biggests) and 2 spurs (the smallest) so i have material to test on the track ...

Now, this new "IFMAR" version wich differences presents over the one i bought from you ? ...

Pato

Main difference is in the crankshaft. IFMAR has 7.5mm internal passage vs.EFRA's 7.00mm, plus it has a more agressive turbo scoop.
Now, if you can get me the size of the track in Rosario, specially main straight lenght, we'll do the special work to give the engine a plus in high end power.

Call me to talk it over.

I'd prefer a OS TZ over a STS D3R.

A question of tastes, colors, budget.... and application my friend.
On our semi permanent track, with Rubber Tyre Only Class, unprepared surface, and very technical tight design, mixed with a 55 mts main straight, our STS engines are as fast than any Italian mill and any TZ engine...it's a question of who sets his car best, and who drives more smoothly....raw power dosn't win races if you can't put all the power on the track.
All modern high end engines are created equal..... if you know how to tune them properly and take advantage of their strenghts and weaknesses.

No Peruvian driver will attend the Southamerican Championship..we will atend the Copa del Pacifico in Machala, Ecuador..it's closer, cheaper, and will give us the opportunity to measure our present level of driving, also the SA Cup was known by us to late in the year...we think one needs more time to prepare for such an event...maybe next year with more time.

Great, you will give us feedback about Ecuador drivers, and we will give you imput about the Argentina , Brazilian and Ecuador drivers (i think 1 will attend) ...

For me Argentina (17hrs driving my car) its closer and cheaper than Ecuador ... hope to race in Peru next year my friend !!
