I have both and they both have a place in my racing. I typically use the Rc Discharger during the week for conditioning but on race day it’s The Annihilator bc it really makes a noticeable difference in snap and speed

I'm looking forward to hearing about the long-term effects of 100-amp discharging. After monitoring battery health over a season on batteries that were exposed to high-amp (30 amps) cycling back-to-back with batteries that were run, topped back off at reasonable charge rates and run again, I no longer cycle my batteries between races.

I doubt many of the 100 amp guys keep their batteries for a full season. The guys around here seem to have fresh batteries every few months.

The discharge process” of The Annihilator literally takes under a minute to perform its different then what you are used to doing.
here the thing, I started trying it last year out of curiosity and I started experimenting with it on my previous retired from racing “practice packs”
after a few weeks of using it on them, my practice packs became as good and some even better than my race packs were.
I now use this on all of my batteries and have for about 10-11 months and going
30 Amp is not a high charge rate it’s pretty weak actually
100A on the Annihilator and cycling the spring switch is basically identical to running your car.
Cold days at the track this winter and I was using it before every run.
I clearly had the fastest car all series long but my driving kept me from being in contention. Others had asked me what I’m doing and some think that I’m cheating

dude, the top guys in the country use brand new batteries every few weeks or every bigger even. It doesn’t even matter if they are only used for one big race and immediately flying out to another one. I’ve seen it first hand
Ice been racing at bigger events for the last couple years but I can’t afford to do this and why I started looking at different devices that are out there and available for batteries.
I was actually dead set on getting a Competition Electronics Turbo 35 (if I could find one) bc I’m convinced it’s still the best charger that was ever made!
The pro performance tool does something

And this is why you shouldn't discharge at 100A...

Discharging at 100 amps has helped my results. My batteries got stronger since the first time I started doing it about a year ago and they are still just as strong now.

it has helped me become more competitive with the top guys that get the new batteries at every race they go to.
An Equalizer if you will y discharging at 100 amps

hasnt hurt a thing it’s basically just like driving the Caron the battery
