I want to get into another class other than box stock.

What is everyone recommendation for which class is the next best option?
I was think stock. I have several RTR MR-03.

Would I be able to get into stock by upgrading one of these cars? What would be first upgrades I should focus on?

Based on the rules its pretty open I would say motor first 70T or go BL or you'll be down on power. Next would probably be an aftermarket diff as the extra power might be a little too much for the stock one and an aftermarket one will give you more tuning options. After that its just what you think you need to improve handling. generally most run a disk damper setup and if you want to go all out a double-A arm front end...

Hate to see ya go Roadrash!

Maaku0220, the next step i would suggest would be Stock. At the minimum grab a Dual Disk Damper ( any brand but PN seems to be what most go with), as the damper makes a HUGE difference in how the car handles. A PN70T brushed motor will also be an improvement, and can fit in the stock plastic pods. And if you want the best rear stock setup grab a Aluminum Pod, and a Ball Diff with a pinion set along with the stuff listed above and you'll be set in the rear. For the front if you want to stay with the 03 front end, a set of Low down knuckles will make it easier to get the ride height and get you to 3mm axels for the front wheels, as they run smoother and longer the the 2mm. My favorite 03 front end is hard arm set with PN Teflon ball and kingpin setup (flipped style) with lowdown knuckles. OR if you are NOT going run in the Narrow class you can get a set of 04 arms, suspension set, and springs and go the the 04 Steering on the 03 chassis! You get the better handling of the 04 and not have a good chassis just sitting! I have a post in the mini z thread on the parts listed needed to do the swap.
The post of the Skyline chassis I have a few posts ago was my BoxStock chassis till I built a 04 ReadySet, and it was ok as a BoxStock but RIPS with the pod/damper/70T/Ball Diff setup! Whole different car! It will be a big difference in handling and speed, but you will grow into it. After that a EVO with brushless power is a easy step. Hope this helps!

What is everyone's favorite place to get upgrade parts from? I usually order from Kenon Hobby website.

Wolfram, Kenon, and HobbyTown/AMain are my usual go to places in the states. Banzai is a good overseas vendor. shipping is more, but the prices are usually very good and a big order can more than make up for it.

For those using Flipside racing if you want to try using my excel data sheet format you can download the file in the link below. After seeing the NextLevel Timing output I wanted similar data so I made this sheet. Utilizing the sheet will need Microsoft Excel and use of an AI (I use free ChatGPT).
AMA Data Sheet (Zip File)

Below is a youtube video i made showing how to use the sheet. I locked the sheet so you cant manually enter any data or change any of the formulas.
The ChatGPT prompt i use is "extract the data from the attached html into a csv format"
When you paste in the 2 rows of summary data the password is "results"
When you paste in the 75 laps of data the password is "laps"

Was sick most of the month and did not have time to drive. This was my only timed run from before I got sick and lost all my momentum. The rest of the time I ran them one after the other with no practice.
