Great video, thanks for sharing. There was a kid I went to school with that got one of these for Christmas and I want to say it was 1983 maybe 84 but I’m pretty sure it was 83. I specifically remember that he had issues with the bushings wearing out pretty fast.

That was my first hobby grade. Steering and front suspension got real sloppy real fast and I broke several frames. The gearbox didn't hold up to a 240 motor. I tried racing it but it was hopeless. Fun car if you didn't get crazy with it but I sold it and got a T Opima. Slapped a belt in it and went back to racing.

Same thing happened with my Tamiya Falcon, kept breaking the chassis because I had the suspension super stiff to raise the ride height, not knowing anything about suspension at the time being a stupid kid.

This is a Frog's Anonymous meeting, and I'm here for it. Also my first hobby grade car back in the mid 80s. Also did EVERYTHING wrong with it. Still have the OG car, going to do a period correct rebuild, thanks for the motivation!

Still have my Frog with the sweeping arm esc. Probably all still works. Need to replace the boots over the dog bones though
