Finally got to run my T6.4 this weekend. All I can say is wow... It handled great with the setup i used from a local guy at RC One with a few tweaks. I used 40w front oil and 35w rear, no rear sway bar and and a 2 gear diff with 15k.
Truck handled great. I used Pin downs in the rear and Swaggers in the front that were glued up to the first row.
Very happy with the truck so far! Can't wait to race it again.

did you try a rear swaybar? And what shock pistons did you use?

I did not have a rear swaybar. I decided not to put one on this time just to see how it was. Truck was dialed without it, but the front tires were glued up the sidewalls. On my 6.2 i ran a rear sway bar but did not have glued sidewalls.

I have 2mm 1.6 2 hole in front and 2mm 1.8 2 hole in the rear.
40wt oil front and 35 rear.

Steel or alum bulkhead? Caster settings? Steering rack high/low? I am building my kit using the "base" setup rcone posted awhile back. Just curious what yours differs from that one

For RC One (and most carpet) - Always Steel 100%, +2.5*

We like the 2.5* caster inserts and rack low.

TQ'd the ROAR race there yesterday by almost a lap, but popped a ballcup in the main and got 2nd SMH.

Also TQ'd the NCTS there in March with these settings.

That is the same setup I used, as stated above the only differences I have are noted in the above post.
I believe that setup sheet is pretty dialed as MrLean has shown. These trucks feel more in the track to me.
I wasn’t fighting the traction roll issues as much.

So you went a little light on shock oils.....did you try the 45/42.5 first and not like?

What sucks is I have a set of brand new ballcups and 3.5mm Jconcepts TI turnbukles that I haven't had a chance to mount yet...Still using the old cups, as this is a T6.2 that I converted (everything except the cups!).

yea on my old .2 truck I would replace all the ball cups after about 4 race days. Was a little costly and time consuming but I never seem to pop one off all season so I'll prolly do the same this year. Nothing worse than losing a good race to a damn popped off cup lol

Finishing the T6.4 and putting on rear anti roll bar on the car. The manual says part # 91823 from the b6 but thats never going to fit. They are way too narrow. I guess buying another set of bars like on the 6.1 ? Or am I missing something ?

I read that this was a typo in the manual. Yes, the sway bars from the 6.1 and 6.2 should be the same.

If you have confirmed that the sway bars from the 6.1 and 6.2 models should work for your T6.4, then it's a good idea to go ahead and purchase the appropriate sway bars for those models.

To make sure you're getting the right parts, you can consult with a professional mechanic or an expert in the field. They can offer guidance on sourcing the correct parts and provide further insights into the compatibility of the sway bars for your specific car model.

Have an odd issue, bolted in a 13.5 motor when I try to put on the 25 tooth pinion there's no room for motor adjustment and the mesh is tight? Odd thing is the manual on the build page shows a 78 tooth spur but the gearing chart in the back says 81 spur? I've tried rotating the motor to see if the screws in the can would have a difference and it does not. Anybody else run into this issue?? WHATS really weird is the T6.1 and 6.2 gearing chart is Completely different for the same transmission 2.60:1?? the t6.2 says 81/23 for 13.5, t6.4 say 81/25??
