Just to share my experience with MLA30+.
First tests were made using the MLA30+ powered by its injector (disabling decoder antenna 5V).
All was working well but signal intensity was sub optimal.
Changing original MLA30+ antenna cable (mounting a bnc connector on MLA30+ box and using a 15m RG58 cable) I get rid of the injector powering the MLA30+ directly with decoder 5V as @andreas78 does.
Result: signal improvement is huge! More intensity and cleaner signals.
Furthermore tuning gain through MLA30+ pot is more effective.

Tried out tonight, could not get it to work unfortunately. I did however get it to work in the AMBrc serial mode with RC Scoring Pro2 software.

Is the software freely avaialable? Unfortunately the AMBRc protocol is an emulation developed by looking at the protocol used by open source timing software. If the software is available I can try to test it and see if something is misunderstood by the decoder firmware

Good morning, are you using just the mla30 amplifier box without the circuit that energizes it? Mine is coming soon and I'll start testing soon

So, all in all, is it working reliably? On my track, we only had some minor problems with hybrid transponders. They just get less hits, because they send both protocols. Thus in case they're mounted in a bad way, they might get missed.

As for the ability to download the software. If you sign up for the FPV version, it is free for upto 10 vehicles which may allow testing etc. It's not a huge issue for me, the software available out there already is great and sufficient, I just know that alot of clubs and tracks use the live timing software already.

something is seriously wrong with my decoding. (tests without the loop amplifier)
ttps://ibb.co/SntVxdd
(complet link)
I reassembled the circuit a second time and this was the result, the first time only a few voltages didn't match, now none match.
I do not know what to do.
the project executable recognizes the decoder, I can beep and turn on the led, zround also recognizes and starts the race, but these values are very wrong.
