a suitable alternative to the AE bodies out there is the X-ray body which can be bought in either stand or lightweight. The body holes align perfectly and the performance is quite good. And it’s looks like a stadium truck body. I tried it from my XT2 23 and it was great on carpet and dirt.

ran my first club night race with the truck last night.. didn't do well and ended up dead last after an almost DNF.. I suffered a popped ballcup in the main and got hung up by the marshal not being able to pop it back on. I wasnt expecting a great finish though, with a new car and a new radio system switched over 3 hours before the start (switched from 7pxr to m17) so the feel wasn't there. But overall learned alot about what adjustments the car is going to need, how hard it can be pushed, and what it is capable of. the new trinity slot machine makes a ton of power, and was overpowering the track layout last night.

Ran mine on Saturday at SDRC and grabbed a podium spot. Needs a little more off power steering and need to tighten slipper some more. Next track day will be testing, I basically built it and raced it. Missed stadium truck, last one was a XXX MF2.

Any issues with traction roll?
Truck looked pretty good overall.

Currently at our Thursday night club race. Clipped the front left wheel on the pipe. The left front was toed in and ball end rubbing wheel. The holes that hold the carbon fiber plate onto the knuckle egged out and the wheel bearings are shot. Seemed like a rather small hit for such damage.

Got the truck fixed before qualifiers started. LHS only had the FT hard carbon parts in stock, so I installed them. Ended up TQ’ing by the skin of my teeth. Truck was on rails. A-main time, stuff it in the first hairpin and get knocked back to 5th place, was able to fight back to 2nd but the leader was able to get a strong run while I was fighting through the pack and held onto a lead I couldn’t make up. This is my 2nd race with the t6.4 and after some minor tweaks for a carpet setup I think it’s 99% where I want it. I may play with springs just to see if I can get it to on-power steer just a touch better.

Just got started building my truck yesterday. I'm not in any rush to upgrade anything OOTB, going to build it to spec and start modifying from there. BUT -- what are some of the small upgrades I should be looking at right away? Things that stand out to me are servo horn, bulkheads, etc?
This is my first AE vehicle. Thanks!

On previous 6 series trucks the steering rack (going to aluminum vs the stock plastics) has been a helpful upgrade. Once you bend the first tie-rod, go to Titanium. They offer different weighted front bulkheads (made of different materials) as well. My 6.1 was a durable truck, hoping the 6.4 (once I get it built) is just as durable..
