Oh they called it USGT.

The tire rules don't match and they say the bodies need to be on the approved ROAR list, but there are no USGT bodies on the roar list.

They also added GT12 and made a mess of that too.

I would like to direct you to page 50 of the ROAR rule book and item 4.1.4.

So Xpress came out with these not too long ago. https://www.bigsquidrc.com/xpress-us...car-wheel-set/

They claim they're USGT legal. Any confirmation?

FWIW they say it "USGT-Spec" not USGT Legal.
They aren't legal.

Right? Especially when BigSquid writes "a great option for serious TC racers.", they're implying they're legal to use in the USGT class. Better to write something like "an option for club racers"

Yeah, same mistake as ROAR did, calling it USGT instead of just GT. Calling them GT-spec would have been fine. However, complaining about an RC news site that very prominently says "For bashers, by bashers!", not being perfectly accurate about racing and its classes, even when the manufacturers themselves are not, might be a little misplaced.

I’ve been having trouble sorting out my car on higher grip tracks. We run gravity belted usgt tires. Once the tires wear a little bit and grip comes up my car traction rolls without much effort. The car visibly looks tippy around sweepers and high speed corners, everyone else looks pretty planted.

I generally run 2.6/2.7 springs, 2 camber rear, 1.5-2 front, 1 tow front. P1-Z body X-ray t4 2021 aluminum chassis.

What tips do you guys have to sort out traction roll issues when the car just feels way too tippy? I’m a bit newer so I still haven’t really figured this out and it can be frustrating not being able to drive my car without worry of it just rolling.

At least in other touring classes, the more or less default go-to front spring on the T4 used to be the 2.5-2.8 progressive spring... also what anti-roll bars are you using? Downstop/droop can make drastic changes as well, have you tried playing with that yet? (And as a last resort there's always gluing the side walls of the fron tires)

where are your roll centers at? pill positions for lower arm, and shims on the upper camber link ( inner and outter ) stock should be 2mm/2mm upper front shims, and rear should be 4mm outside and 1-1,5 mm inside. but that also depends on where your pills are setup. i can link you toa pretty solid usgt setup for the T4 if u would like.
