Tekno SCT410SL

I preordered one. I love the 410 series platform. Only issue I have had from the beginning is a severe nose dive. That nose dive issue along with health issues made racing to not be fun anymore so I stopped a couple years back. I am going to start back up racing tomorrow. We shall see if this SL platform fixes the nose dive issue. I have the EB410 and it hardlyever nose dives on me. This thing looks like a stretched chassis of the EB/ET cars.

The nose dive (aka donkey kick) issue was solved by running the EB48 springs on the SCT410, the reason was that the stock springs were smaller and designed for 1/10 jumps, but larger 1/8 jumps require the larger 1/8 springs.
Tell Tiki I said hello the next time you see him down at RGVRC!

I must have missed that suggestion on the springs. I have tried a good number of suggestions to get the issue under control. Which EB springs were recommended to use? I will tell Tiki tomorrow if he is at the track. Who do I tell him said hi?

Is the centerdiff spurgear plastic or machined?
if it is plastic, is there Machined option?

we had donkey kick issues even on 1/10 scale sized jumps, the issue was tied to the way the approach was on the jump being very abrupt and the nature of the weight being as far forward as it was. We got this almost completely solved by the SCT410.3, but was still an issue on some jumps, just needed to prep the suspension by hitting the brakes then slamming throttle on this particular jump, worked fine. Other trucks ddn't have this issue like the Losi or the Durango DESC10.

As this truck is made with racing in mind, we went with a very minimalist bumper. ROAR rules require a rear bumper, but there's no minimum size requirement. It also has screw holes in it to allow for an underbody wing or spoiler.
