I filled out the survey, but I didn't see any choices for Tamiya Mini, Tamiya Euro Truck, or even the TT02.

I’m sure one of those classes will run. The Tamiya M had been running all winter at St. Charles.

Yep, I would like a Tamiya Mini and TT02 Class as well.

Is there an on-site shop at this facility?

I don’t think they are planning one. There’s a good hobby store about 20 minutes away. I know many that would run there when the building was a clay track.

What hobby store is around there? The closest one I could think of is Leisure Hours but that is farther away. I would almost think that it would be essential to have a small shop there that stocks the basics.

Leisure is back off I-55. When it was Impact that’s were most ran. Honestly, with the amount of spare parts most carry with them. If someone breaks someone broke something, somebody had one.

It’s possible. I know for the 1/27 side they will have parts for some cars. For 1/side I just don’t know.

Most off road tracks will have 17.5t 2wd & 13.5t 4wd buggy (blinky). Stadium truck & short course truck are kinda hit or miss.

I know I'm interested in running 1/28 stock. I can run box stock or 70t stock. I feel box stock may be a beginners only class though. Currently looking for a super stock 1/28 setup as it appears that is popular with the group.
Also interest in Tamiya Mini and 1/12 pancar. Going to need to talk to folks about pan car. Never raced those but seem most similar to the mini-z.

Stock is a good place to start. I’ve watched a number come from 1/10 or 1/12 and struggle with Super Stock.

i currently use an Evo5600 for super stock. Majority use the others, GL racing or RTRC. I would suggest coming out first before buying. 1/28 is bit more complicated then 1/10 or 1/12
