OK, after sealing the backplate and carb with RTV, its still messed up.

I cant get it to idle, I tried messing with the idle screw and radio trim settings many times.


I also changed hte fuel line and zip tyed the air filter to the carb very tight.

I cant figure this out.

Its a shame since theres only like a gallon through the engine!!

fsturbo... i recommend u try to have a look inside your engine....just to be sure...
then if everythings in proper condition, u have solve the most critical elements of your problem,....the rests won't be that hard to overcome...

I was told by someone with the same engine/car its because of the glowplug.

He said to go back to a medium glow plug, novarossi #3.

Hotter the plug, cooler the engine and vice versa.

Ill be taking that very cold RB plug out.

It was running peftect with the medium plug before.
