Not new to RC but want to try racing at a local track. I have a Tlr5.0 elite coming. I have a tekin esc in a truggy and want to stay with tekin so I can use the same esc controller.

I'm going to try stock so I'll be getting a 17.5 motor but have no idea on the esc. Any suggestions where to start?

If you want to use your electronics to require less ballast needed to meet weight, RSX.

I have both, both are overly capable for 17.5.

I'm using the Gen 3 Spec. in my 5.0 buggy. This is on Oval carpet with 17.5. Works fine.
