The CRC cars might be great but I am not a fan of the instructions. I feel that you need knowledge of setup and they aren't clear in some areas. Anyone who can use tools and read should be able to build an x12 and end up with good starting point tune wise. Plenty of detail and information in the XRAY manuals.

what would you like to know. I go to races and see the other brands being thrashed on. Most of the chassis down here are CRC. There are a few XRay, Serpent and Awesomatics( strictly indoors). The CRC is the all around car as it runs fine both indoors and outdoors here in florida. But it's your money spend it your way.

I use the 5 degree blocks with 1 spacer front and 2 rear.. Front blocks #5 and one orange spacer. 45 springs front and side with the red center spring. 7,000 in the side tubes, And CRC foam tires at 42mm. This is my set up for GT12 and Ive tried about every body out there my favorite is the Blitz60909 lite weight
Have a new body now but not in the mood to paint it yet. But I have a few weeks.

The montech is high down force. I personally think it would be perfect for asphalt, offset Roche body posts would be worth trying as well. It would allow you to try the body in a neutral position, and 2mm towards the back if you need more stability.
