so geez are you saying the both brakes work as 100% combined then so if you need 15% drag then the max main brakes can be are 85%? I haven't used drag brakes since my 1st month or 2 when brushless came into rc racing. then I never used them again.. was a giant adjustment from brushed that always had there own drag brakes ,,

You should always set brake strength at the esc to 100%. You can then turn it down using your radio as needed to avoid locking the brakes up on the track.
Drag brake (set at 10%) will initiate 10% of the brake strength when the throttle is in the neutral position. If you have it set at 15% it will apply 15% of the brake strength. You can adjust this to suite your driving style. I use it to drop the nose of car down prior to approaching a corner.
Your neutral width on your throttle has to be set wide enough to allow the drag brake to work.
Tekin has an option for 'active drag' which when turned on will apply the drag brake proportionately to how much you let off the throttle instead of having to go all the way to neutral... coming to a corner, you let off the throttle 50%, this will apply 50% of your drag brake setting... a great feature if you learn to use it
