Default Big bear NiB Marui

Hey everyoneI have an opportunity to buy two big bear NIB.
I would sell one an sleep one.
What do you realistically feel I could get. Not 200$ not $20.000 ... The emphasis is on realistically...
Built ones sell for 400 500.

I would love to have one, but not at that price. That was the first RC car I ever purchased. Try eBay. They might have some to compare with..

hahaha yes ! I wish !
So far everyone is telling me 1000 to 1500.
I actually have a pending offer on one at 1000.
That seem to be sensible. The Demo built one might be available too. It's complete and superb minus tire rot. Never ran.

That definitely will be a great shelf queen. Maybe I'll get that for my wife as a mother's day gift.

I always wanted a Marui Big Bear because it looks very cool but when I saw the transmission and the steering arms with everything else on the truck, I told myself that it was made way too flimsy and not worth the asking price of $400. With parts nearly impossible to find you almost don't want to run it. So I picked up a Lexan shell from TBG and slapped it on the HPI Savage XS and the thing was a blast to drive as its on 3S brushless power. The whole truck ran me $250 minus radio and battery.

That's a brilliant idea.
it's a bit like buying a Datsun and slapping a 250 GTO body on it ! Great daily driver that will impress

It was is definitely flimsy. It is more of a shelf queen than a basher. The shocks are a bolt with springs and there is a massive amount of play in all the joints, including the steering. The gear box might be the worst design ever. However, it is a very cool looking truck and a piece of history. Some might even say it was the beginning of the RC monster trucks.
