Great info, thanks for the reply. Good news on the consistency, big or small, once you know ,it's no longer a factor as long as it's consistent. I'm so close to pulling the trigger on this. If my CRC wasn't so solid( doesn't round the corners and once you put on the better bit, it throws truing dial off) and it does do the job..

Default truer failing to turn on

Hi,

i got one of these in January, and after having it sit in my room for 2 months, I decided to try use it.

but I realized there is no way I can turn this thing on. I’m using a Motiv power supply that I have been using for my iCharger for years. But this truer just doesn’t want to turn on. Nothing, dead.

any suggestions on how I can fix this? Thanks

I know it sounds obvious but have you checked the fuses? Do you have another power source you can try. Email SMART, sometimes take a while to reply but seem happy to help. I use mine with a standard 12v leisure battery.

Self service.

The Smart Truer can use the HUDY arbor with no issue of calibration or reading. Had to go with HUDY as the order for Smart was super long.

Nice unit so far. To put some remedy into the larger cut after calibration I added another click moving the head forward. Does the job now.

As small bug I have is after setting a new value for Speed and returning to the main menu. The revised value is not showing, only the previous value.
