So I have a question regarding how to know if a Motor and ESC will work with one another.
Basically I have a TP Power 4070cm 2200kv motor laying around that I would like to put in my Arrma Talion V3. I have the stock system in the truck which is the BLX 185 6s. My question is will this Motor work with this ESC?
If not what would you recommend as an ESC?
And any information on how I can tell if a motor and ESC will work with one another would be greatly appreciated!!

okay. So how exactly do you know this? Does the ESC max amps have to be greater than the motors max amps?
The tekin ESC you listed, would it work? Or would that cut it to close? Thanks

The Tekin Rx8 can handle 300 amps continuous however that TP motor is 264 amps and bursts to a maximum power of 9000 watts.
If you drop the KV to under 1700kv this will work with a RX8.
Install that TP Power 4070cm on that RTR BLX 185 6s At you own risk
