I have personally met the owner when he came down from QLD to Melbourne for the AOC. Top bloke and willing to do anything to help out.
Honestly tho your piss poor attitude and lack of understanding is also whats wrong with this hobby. first and last order, saying bad service etc - with out a shred of knowledge as to what this one guy is trying to do for our hobby. Well done.
You played being a standard user \ shopper crying I want it now coz I paid for it, very well.

A few tings you could have done better;
if you needed it quick - call before you put your order in and say so
Called after your order was put in to confirm it and ask for it be sent ASAP or an ETA?
Follow up call or email the next day to see where its at
Keep the crying to yourself

To be fair a few of us in WA have had issues with Speedy, nothing malicious, I mean it's a single bloke operation so mistakes happen, items short from orders, or sent to the wrong person with a similar name, but that said I do know a lot of us use him (myself included) and he's usually pretty good to respond on fb messenger. I've probably spent a few thou with him the past year or two and have no plans to stop shopping with him.

I do think Campbelltown Hobbies advertise way too much on facebook every 2nd day there is a shared post amongst every rc related page there, way to flog a dead horse.

Makes me want to NEVER shop there kinda the whole Clive Palmer effect!

Find pretty much all Aussie stores to drag feet when it comes to processing/dispatching online orders, probably our laid back attitude.

Put my first order into SPEEDY RC just on Saturday 20th for tyres, had them in my hand on Tuesday 23rd, very happy with the service.

Yeah right - thats weird - eg last night I ordered a new zombie 21.5 motor - two lipos and some Destiny car parts, I couldn't believe that they are already at my house today. Thats Brisbane to Melbourne, then east suburbs over night. I wonder why its any diff for you guys :/ He seems responsive on facebook too.

Just a bit of a bump,

Coming back into racing after a decade or so away, most of my favourite old favourite online shops are no more, so can anyone tell me a good Aussie retailer to get 4s LiPo’s?

Thanks

Smokey
