I just bought one of these MT and going trough setup. Mine struggles to return to center when steering. The servo returns to the center position but the steering assembly seems to have some slop. If I push the wheels back, it does return to center. Also, I can get it to return to center if I counter steer the other way a little rather than just release the steering to neutral. I’ve tried tightening the servo saver spring and helps a little but does not solve the problem completely. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Remove the servo horn and power on the model to let the servo center. Attach the servo horn as close to center as possible.
Most kits have a tie rod connecting the servo to the steering rack. You can adjust this tie rod if you are close to center but do not over extend it.
Check to make sure your A/B-blocks have the inserts in the correct positions
Make sure the wheels are level on the ground and watch for excessive toe out/in.
Finally set end points, adjust sub trim and use standard trim to adjust while driving.

Hi guys, new to the forum.
Do any of you encounter problems with the hinge pin inserts (the square plastic pieces in the hinge pin holders)? Mines keep getting crushed thus making my a-arm a bit lose.
I wonder if there is an alternative to the stock ones, or maybe some custom mods to get this fixed?
Edit: I ended up making custom aluminium parts

Looks like this thread is dead, which should give me a clue... Lost yet another Big set screw that holds the pivot ball in place. Had to buy PRO4005-07 Pro-Line PRO-MT 4x4 Pivot Ball Hardware & Shock Piston Set. That whole pillowball set up is a DESIGN FAIL.
Anybody know how to keep these from falling out?? This truck is such a pain in the ass. Ive actually contacted customer support at proline about some issues that were clearly their fault. No help, no apology. Ughh, Ive actually stopped buying their overpriced tires, not to mention do they even support 17mm hexed 2.8 wheels for this truck anymore? Its their truck and their wheels and their tires. No wonder everybody says to sell the pro mt 4x4 and just get another Tekno!!!

short of that a tiny drop of ca glue works for me too
this car is great for 98% of rc’ers who don’t launch it into orbit. Put it side by side with other more popular MTs on the market and it’s clear it’s quality is miles above traxxas, quality of the plastic and hardware in particular is way above the arrmas but its definitely not quite as good as tekno. But for a 400 then 300 dollar roller that comes with body and tires it’s really, really in a league of its own when it comes to value. I have two and love these things.

I agree its a fun truck, but I wont be buying another... My breakages havent come from jumps or any hard bashing. Just driving the thing around, you got to watch those big set screws from backing out. I was checking before and after each run. The associated extended wheel hexes help stopping friction rub, but if the screw backs out, its gone baby. Good luck finding it. I just paid $20 for the replacement pack. And most of the parts are always out of stock.
I have also thought about drilling set screws. Mine came with ca glue evident from the factory. It didnt help.
