I recently purchased a Spektrum DX5C with the 5-ch non-AVC receiver. How much of that antenna needs to come out of my Slash receiver box?i see others with a short (couple of inches) antenna. Can i just have a couple inches sticking out and "stuff" the extra into the receiver box? Or will that impact my reception?
Thanks!
Thanks!

For most of the new 2.4 radios, only the last 31 mm of the antenna is active - the part where the outer covering is stripped off. As long as that 31 mm section is above of any other shielding ( battery, servo, etc. ) you should be fine. In my buggy, I use a tube about 2 inches long, and bent over at 90 degrees so it fits under the body.
