Hey guys

Looking at the setup sheets, looks like they’re mostly running the Mugen fronts 75/7.75T and Hb Orange in the rear.

I cant seem to find the mugens? Are they the E0573?

What size are they using for the rears? I can only find 76mm and those are more front springs.

Looking for the right pinion gear for my setup. Im using the XR8 with the 2250kv motor, RC8T3.1e with stock spur (I think its a 46T), and 2 sets of tires and wheels. 4S battery. One set has 4.05" outer diameter and other has 4.26" OD. 75% of the time in the street on pavement. Want more top end but I dont wanna go too big and burn out motor and wires. Any info would be appreciated.

+1

15t is fast enough to keep up with the 1/8th scale Buggies on the straights. And the motor comes off around 120-130f after a 7 minute run

1900kv is for Buggies. Truggy motors are 74mm long and come in 2000kv

plenty of eTruggys running 1900.

my track is small and technical. Even with a 2000kv, 2250kv in my case(hobbywing) and the EPA turned down it’s still a bit too much.

A lot of people run buggy motors in e-truggies.

Hi all. Im kinda stick on putting the servo saver together. Anyone have a picture of the finished product? It says to put a rubber o-ring somewhere in the setup. I dont understand where. I tried different setups and the ring starts to bulge and not fit. I dont see the need for the oring in the servo saver but what do I know. Any help....

The O-Ring goes on the underside of the adjuster knob in between the chassis and the knob.

On the T3.1e, there's a groove on the underside, although it doesn't really fit in there, that's where it goes.

Sooooo, ever have a wheel roll across the track but not because of a lost wheel nut???
This happened on my last run of my test day, about 100 laps...hub and wheel nut still there, looks like that compression band moved aside and let the pin escape

Anyone upgraded the hubs to the MB8XT hubs?

But wait!!! There’s more:

2 failed bearings, 1 causing a rear hub to partially melt. *sigh*

Avid bearings??? Open to suggestions.

Btw, the Mugen 75/7.75 front springs and HB Orange rears (which is really brown lol) make the stock setup come alive!!!!

Highly recommended.
