I am racing 2wd open with a reedy sensor-less setup at a reedy 3300 and 600 esc combo. What would be a great motor and esc to have to replace or even just be a back up to race with in the 2wd open class? I also need help figuring out what servo I should invest to. I don't want to over pay by buying something like trinity or orion. Thanks in advance!!

for a 2WD SCT in mod, I would probably go with a 6.5T to 7.5T motor, check out RCJuice under their Rocket brand of motors, they're pretty good for the price. RCJuice also sells JX servos which are decent for about a year or so. Most brands of servos will generate slop over time as the gears slowly wear out. Unfortunately there are no replacement gear sets for JX servos making them disposable. If you want a quality servo that will stand the test of time, then I would pick a brand that offers replacement gear sets. I run mostly Savox servos in my cars but have been turned off by their over priced gear sets. I've been really happy with SRT and EcoPower brands lately, both who offer gear sets for half the price of what Savox charges. If it were me, I'd buy the Eco Power WP120T servo.

For a no-nonsense sensored ESC that won't hurt your wallet, check out Hobbywing's Quicrun 10BL120. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles of data logging, turbo, and boost timing. Save your money for tires, good batteries, radio, and charger.
