Unless the track mandates a premount, you may use your own rim with the usgt tire and usgt insert.

I had not seen what the R8 has become. Kinda still see this as the R8 I see it now having seen a picture of the real car. But at first look I could see influences from couple different cars.

They are 1/5 scale tires. The stock Losi 6 tires were very good, but didn’t last. At $160 set it was almost two expensive to use the car. Owners got as little as a single run on them , most could get 3-5. Not race conditions, just running around. No other tires fit, Losi was aware of the issue but sales didn’t justify a fix. One owner made adaptors to use 1/5 wheels, soon as he started selling them we all followed. It never bothered me that the wheels were wider, some owners made custom wheel flares to cover them.

Great looking body but really takes liberty with the angles on the nose. The R8 2019 has a very flat front end. To me it's more a sedan body with R8 headlights and grill. I applaud the great looking and performing bodies coming around in USGT but the lines are getting very blurry. I understand the bigger body companies lobbying IIC for factory authorized bodies is financially driven but I like fact it keeps the bodies true to form as well.
