Is there anyone out there using the 7PX to control the RC4WD Wired Winch Controller?
If you have, can you let me know how you set up the 7PX to control it?
I'm considering using this setup, instead of going with the wireless unit.

I would have a look at the HEYOK products.
They have a "switch" that plugs into the receiver and allows you to use the remote to operate the winch (they also make other devices allowing control from the remote also, like lights etc)
HeyOK 4amp Winch Controller (3pos)
Other products

MOmo

Try plugging the winch controller into any free port/channel on the receiver, what ever port/channel you use on the receiver program that port/channel in your radio to one of your 2 or 3 position switches on your radio.

I have successfully programmed the 7PX to control exactly what you have... you need to assign a trim switch to a spare channel. (channel 4 for this exercise). set the level to increments of 100. Set the EPA to zero in both directions. You also need to set up 'Program Mixing' and set channel four to slave to channel 4. assign a push button switch to channel 4 as well. The way it works is when you use the trim switch up or down it will set the direction of channel 4. Then you operate the push button to activate the output of channel 4. (winch in)As long you are pushing the button the channel will be active (momentary switch). If you toggle the trim the opposite way it will then trigger channel 4 in the opposite direction (winch out) when the push button is activated.
hope this is helpful
