Just need to Tighten Down Screws & Tire Nuts and that's All! Made some adjsettings of the Mamba X internal BEC up from 5.5V to 7.5V. There was a significant improvement in how the JR9100HVt's capability to steer the JConcept Monster Tires/Heavy MT @High Voltage. The Futaba SR RX can take it as well. Planning on installing the Castle Telemetry to measure/graph performance via Castle App/Link.

We love Racing 1/10 and 1/8 Scale Off-Road. Amazed how easy and graceful a 5B can execute double & triple Jumps, quick-turns, and fast exits at Competition Racing in the US, we want a 5B.

Five-B is NOT a Five-T
Why not just swap-out the roll cage, panels, bumpers of the 5T for a 5B shell and wing? Yes it might look the part but know it's not going to Work because Team Losi developed specifically for the 5B many New Racing Components essential to winning.

Quick Update: Losi 1/5 Racing Buggy Project

Notes:
The Design & Quality is very likeable, and even when partially built - attractively Beautiful. Parts Fit Perfect, and all that is required of a complete roller is included.

Be aware, that the 5B Kit is Best put together by an Experienced Builder. One that have tools and skills for precision assembly, and knowledge/experience to select settings, and use special tools and/or techniques to install clips & connecting rod-ends, figure out how to properly assemble dampers/shocks.

Overall, Team Losi got a Champion for 1/5 Scale 4WD Competition Off-Road Buggy. However, It is baffling and unknown why the decision to Discontinued the 5B.
For 1/5 Land Speed, Air Jump, Tire Ripping, & TOTAL Carefree/Wreckless Driving, HaHa -- the 5T-E-SCRR 15S MGM/Lehner, is hard to Beat!

Guess What? I found a couple of PS-60s, HaHa!

ThunderPower, MaxAmp, and Revolectrix were some of Premium Brands. They claim TRUE 70C-150C, which is the ideal/requirement for Competition. However, prices of the Premium Branded is at a High Premium, to-date. Revolectrix would be the "cheaper" buy amongst the 3. It's a Home-Grown Brand and Vincent of Revolectrix offers the Best Service, Thanks Vincent!

GensAce, Turnigy, and Zippy is popular among the boat guys in Europe. and they seem to offer better value for the money. Sadly, LHS don't have it.

I am not a HUGE fan of MaxAmp. Bought 4 packs of the MaxAmp RACE 6500mAH 150C and the experience was horrifyingly unreliable, unimpressive performance, and easily bloats. snobbish Customer Service Guy - Total Waste of Time and Money. NEVER AGAIN!

Anyways, today there is a plentitude of choices for the more popular 2S-4S 60-100C 1000mAH-2500 mAH Lithium Polymer. Radio Control Sports have the Tattu and KD Lipo Brand,which I found to perform impressively capable of delivering the punch and speed for the MambaX + 1/8 scale 2200kv 5mm BL on the Axial RR10 Bomber, Custom Tamiya TXT-1 Chassis, & Custom CLOD Twin Motor Monster Trucks.

1/5 Scale E-Powered Trucks and Buggies like the MGM Team Losi Racing-5T and 5B, minimum requirement would be a pair of 5S-7S Lithium Polymer (2 packs in series for a 10S-12S-14S), and a minimum capacity 5000 mAH - 70-100C.



Unfortunately, not many of out LHS carry quality 5S-6S-7S (70C-100C) 5000-6500mAH Capacity. Buy online, but you'll probably have to pay premium shipping cost, tax, And to cost to shipping-our for Warranty. NTC is the local Distributor of ThunderPower. They do have a 6S 5000 70C, but not cheap.

Oh yeah, I have visited and purchased a pair of Zonta 6S 5200mAh 70C from ZMTech. Haven't tried them Zonta's and honestly have no idea to this time. Went back to grab some4S 12000. Unfortunately, a significant number on the shelf of Zonta Batteries -- are a year old. I was surprise to hear comments that the owner/shopkeeper that clearly indicate not having or enjoy a positive/favorable/thumbs-up impression/ experience among Hobbyist especially among the local RC Heli World which are their shop's usual Patrons. Sorry Guys it is stated objectively, honestly, and sadly feedback I got from friends learning that I bought 2 pairs of batteries from them. The feeling is mixed and kinda disappointing.

Building the TLR-5B Kit was truly a Delightful Experience. Prepping for a Shakedown is absolutely Riveting and Titillating, as well.




The SHAKEDOWN.

The SHAKEDOWN was PURELY Ecstatic for the lack of Word to describe the heart-stopping (in-anticipation) and overwhelming joy (aftermath).
With Power 10S Lipo, and 5T set of Tires, soon as tires warmed-up Driver Experience Full Control of the Large Scale Breast. It can a make turns on a count and exit that Turn Quick. Throttle was only about 20-35%, the MGM/Lehner can be programmed to deliver Hair Raising Top Speed and Low-End Power Torque, as well. I knew this Beast can Perform but genuinely did not expect to be this GREAT!

Anyways, definitely worth the Tome, Effort and Resource. Decided on swapped the pair of K-Power DM4000 Monsters for Spektrum's Ultimate 1/5 S9020 HV Digital Surface. Oh Yeah, it was very difficult to resist the opportunity of Powering the Buggy Beast 12S via a pair of 6S 5000mAH KD Lipo Competition Gold - TOP Pick of Champion Heli Freestyle Competition Pilots, in Europe.
