could be wrong though, will be looking at car over weekend as friend got one to see if its better choice to do 4wd mini conversion.

Great weekend racing with Bartolo Racing and the MTS/V3 in 21.5 class. Clicked the fastest lap in the class 9.9(the only 21.5 car in the 9's), 17.5 guys were in the 9.5-9.7sec laps. Was within inches of the 1st place car thru the whole race , got up front for a few corners started to pull away, but got tangled up with lap traffic ended up finishing second.

The car so far is working very well. Next weekend will be at Valkaria for some racing before the Regional race there later this year.

curious to find out how it would be with modified speeds (4.5turn)
as feel this would test the prototype better, as your pushing car to its limit, seeing how much mechanical grip and balance it has given higher cornering speeds.

actually i ran a few packs with the Speedzone 4.5t saturday and it ran very well at the small track but no one else wanted to run mod will be running the 4.5 again this weekend at a better track suited for mod.

is your car suffering from understeering? Because that's not really where you want to flex...

touché

speaking of the cut topdeck, was there a reason why you left that little bit at the bottom uncut?

just trying something a little different, it worked in the past on my previous cars on low to medium grip tracks , if it doesn't work ill just put the other top deck on , but so far every single change i have done to the car it gets a tenth or 2 faster

I do, and the purpose of the specific design is to concentrate the flex on the flex bars, so you can have a lot of traction in the rear part of the chassis. It is working very well in the conditions I used the car (13.5 boosted, medium grip asphalt). I'm quite surprised to see that you are using the cf link on the rear, I've done the same because the car had way too much flex everywhere.

You can find my impressions about the kit here: http://www.rc4life.ch/2015/10/18/mts...-et-remontage/

The first thing I had to do was to re-design a chassis/upper deck for the car and ask Bezerk RC to cut it. It really transformed the car. You can ask him, I think he still has the plans.

Then I replace all the plastic parts by Xray parts, which are stronger. The thin arms are good in lower traction conditions, but when traction increases, you lost a lot of energy in curves and transitions. I think you have the same impression as you switch for cf arms :-)

I'm not racing the car anymore, but it was a fun car. At the end I was using my custom chassis/upper-deck with stands in the front and thickest flex bar in the rear.

I ran both and this version handles a lot different all together not even close to the tsquared
