Need to send them to MRT only ones that deal with them
Look for them on face book or their website

mine took about 3 weeks turnaround and Terry is real easy to deal with

Is an updated needed to get them to work with the latest mylaps firmware update? I purchased an MRT about 8 months ago and it’s still working great at my local tracks s they haven’t (and said they won’t) installed the update.

Once your track updates the software the MRT will no longer work unless you send it in for the upgrade.

I do not have a lnk as I sent my PTX transponder to a member of another club close by who took it upon himself to do a bulk shipment to MRT in the UK on our behalf. You might try contacting MRT through their FB pages for details. Cost wasn't too bad around $25

I have a pinned post in the radio and electronics section regarding the update. I spoke with a guy over at mylaps and the update is only needed to make use of drone racing transponders, and is not a forced update. More than likely your track knows not to update.

Here is a thread discussing this very same subject.
MRT RC4 Compatable pt news
I think Terry has a thread on RCTECH somewhere but have yet to find it again.
I sent in mine a couple of years ago and paid for the upgrade. I also bought 2 of the new model MRT transponders at a discount when upgrading my old one. They all work great!
