State of 1/10 Stadium Truck Racing

It’s great to see/read about so many guys still out there that want to see the class make a comeback as much as I do. Whether it be on carpet/turf or dirt.

I don't know what the ST situation is in the rest of Europe, but here in Finland they aren't raced at all. In fact I've never even seen a 1/10 or 1/8 truggy in person. Not enough hobbyists to go around for even more classes. Personally I don't mind for 1/10, the truggies there don't appeal to me visually - well, not that I like the buggies that much either, but at least they have a proper rear wing instead of the odd flap that STs get.
I wish there was a 1/8 truggy class though, as those look a lot nicer than 1/8 race buggies. I've managed to resist getting a 1/8 so far due to the buggies looking meh, and no point in spending money getting a truggy just to drive laps with when I can just drive my lovely SCTs instead that I also race with. Sadly same goes for something like the Nomad DB8 which looks much nicer than race buggies.

Nitrousdave Love the look of that track, and wish I lived close to it. New carpet track opened just before Christmas near me and I was able to make the 1st race they had in January. 13 STs raced mod. Have a local outdoor track but none of the 1/10th scale stuff shows up hardly. Ebuggy and Truggy dominate the track. I have both but dislike 4wd so I show up ready hoping other 1/10th 2wd guys show. Hoping this carpet track helps up the attendance to the outdoor track.

We're trying to get a 13.5 ST class going here in Tulsa at a local clay track that opened a few months ago. Seems to be some interest - but just so many have 2wd and 4wd buggies and sold their stadium trucks long ago... but slowly people are watching when someone brings one out and, to me anyway, they jump as good as a buggy and handle the jumps better than a SCT.
Fingers-crossed.

I saw this posted in the T5M thread:
This is a direct quote from the Associated Facebook page, January 2nd.
"As for a product like a T6, it requires extensive R/D and rather than rushing to market with a truck that is good, we are burning the midnight oil to bring you something that is GREAT. You will see new trucks early this year and they will change the game. #WeAreAE"
In context, the reply was given to a patron that was upset over the release of new 1/28 vehicles instead of new truck platforms. The post is still there, you just have to scroll down to find it. Just thought I would pass this along for those who may be interested.

Thanks everyone, here's a few more pics to whet everyone's appetite lol
The track is Gobles M40 Raceway (M40 Raceway or https://www.facebook.com/M40Raceway/)
All these pictures were taken by Robbie Sharp-WilburDirt from Dirt Junkies Raceway. She took a lot of awesome pictures that day. The whole album is here https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?...0063047&type=3 but I think you have to join their group (https://www.facebook.com/groups/215333361908177/) to be able to see them.
Step pins and ribs are most common, but goosebumps and other large pin tires work too

Who doesn't like throwing some dirt around?

ebuggies are popular too

Is my chassis scratched? lol (I landed this too!)

This is my local track, RCx213. It is a 1/8th sized track but built very 1/10th friendly. There is a triple through the rhythm section that is around 20'. I can make it with 2wd buggy and stadium truck. SC I can get across it but not land in control. Night vs day time picture. Located in Saint Clairsville Ohio. Should open in May depending on weather.
