hello.

after a while playing with the Slash it is the time for some upgrades. 3s LiPo batteries does not include beacause i already got them with a Traxxas id charger. what should i upgrade next ? some tips ?
it's a great truck, but i would like to make it taller a bit, like the Traxxas X-Maxx. a bigger ground clearance from some new wheels and shocks i think would help in the mud and bashing. but can i put some bigger wheels and shocks on it ? and if i can, how, because the hex size does not fit the bigger wheels.

A slashpede is fairly common. Slash chassis with Stampede tires. They do make wheel adaptor to use larger 17mm wheel.

No matte what it will never get close to XMaxx size or clearance.

Going with larger tires can effect motor temps.

Best upgrade is to buy a Tekno 410.3! I played the upgrade game trying to race a Slash 4x4, spent lots for little gained. IMO slash's are great but not a good race tunable option. If you are looking to race, Tekno is the way to go!

Bolt them on and go. Proline even has a new body that fits the tires under a short course looking shell. Its pretty sick.
