thanks for the tip!

What servo horn are you guys using with a Spectrum servo?

Only must have IMHO is the horn. Be good to get some spares though, hinge pins, shock shafts, spur gear.

Speaking of spur gear, IMHO, the CF top plate is a must, whether you plan to use a fan or not.

Also, get the AE factory team pinions in the range you think your motor will need.

Anyone have problems getting this horn on the spectrum servo. The one I have is very tight. Can't get it to go down all the way.

I had to use a screw to force it to seat all the way.

That's a big turnoff from me now, no way am I going to fall into the replacing those plastic pucks every couple of race days again scheme, so not worth the hassle!

Not sure. You would need to call. I know when the MIP was out for the B64 I bought direct from Matt for 125.00 at the stock Nat's last year.

Is it just me or does anyone else dislike the color of the MIP puck system? We need a stealth black version for me to bite

you can dye the orange pucks black with rit dye

I wish I could link back to an old (hilarious) URC thread of this kid "SlashShadow" who had this ad with his Slash for sale... he clearly spray painted the chassis, you could see over spray on the shock springs which were doubled up, exposed solder connections... the car was a complete disaster and he swore up and down that he dyed the chassis, the poster comments went on and on with some of the funniest "it dye" meme's too, ha!

That sounds hilarious! lol I could never do such a thing to one of my cars But perhaps I'll consider doing a proper dye job if I ever end up getting the puck system. I don't think I'd put them in as they sit. Too much bling for me

1. The EB410 comes with aluminium center driveshafts (vs B64 that are steel).
2. The center diff weighs about the same as the B64 center diff does WITH plastic gears (34g vs 33g).
3. As far as I know rollers only work reliably with steel outdrives. All of their systems with aluminium outdrives use the plastic pucks. I asked Matt about this a long time ago and he said they couldn't endorse / sell aluminium outdrive with metal roller. Just not durable.

So keep this in mind when choosing to spend your money on this system. I love MIP stuff but am perfectly happy with the weight and durability of the stock tekno parts.

Does anyone have a setup sheet for a outdoor off road track that is loamy to soft fluff, is anyone using the shorter rear shock tower for more droop in an outdoor setup with some nice jumps
