The new chassis is made out of 7075 aluminum and has "Associated" laser etched in the chassis and it's more of a brown color instead of grey

I run sway bars front and rear on black CRC carpet. Valuable tuning options for fine tuning the chassis to ones needs.

On the chassis comment, what was the original chassis made from? Was it supposed to be softer, stiffer or just an ano update with some etching?

Ok - but are there any performance (flex?) differences between the new and "old" chassis?

The old chassis is slightly lighter and flexes more.

It's a very small difference. Some people were experiencing tweaked chassis, so the new version is a bit stronger. I thought I saw a post somewhere that the difference was 7 grams between the original and new.

I actually have the original on my dirt car as I felt it wasn’t softer/flexed more. And the new one on my carpet car. I may offload one of my extra originals to buy a new one as a tuning option for dirt racing.

My chassis is an original, but I had it on a flat surface and it sat flat, so no worries there, plus I run hard to soft dirt, outdoors. Maybe next winter I'll grab an updated chassis.

My original chassis was flat but the area that tweaked was the kickup portion. I didn't notice this for a couple of weeks and was wondering why my buggy wasnt handling great
