WARNING:dumb newby questions ahead
i need some batteries for my pro4.i want to run the car in 27 turn stock with a monster pro and a keyence rapida pro esc.
at the moment i'm using either tamiya 2400 nicads or the venom 3000's.(dont laugh its all i have
ops: ) for 2 laps the car seems to go pretty well then it just dies off.
what sort of batteries should i get and what charger do i need? also is there a simple method of charging/discharging batteries that i should keep to? i dont understand all this cycling, discharge trays etc etc. its all jibberish to me
i dont mind spending money to get decent stuff,as long as it doesnt get out of hand

I'd pick up a dirty dozen or two from Harris R/C they're well priced and will easily last you a five minute race. If you want even better packs pick up some matched packs instead. I run 2400's in stock and easily make the distance, make sure you charge and discharge your packs properly.

Simply get some GP3300's or IB3600's and a good charger (like a CDC) . You do not need to have discharge trays if you handle your cells correctly.I can provide you with more details if you PM me with any questions. I also can sell you batteries at very good prices

Hey "moot" i dont think we need to go "Matched" YET..heheheh
I can make you a globe discharger like mine if ya want..
From what i can understand about Discharging (using globes)... is that you discharge just until the globes dim, then let cool & charge..??
Cheers
