Hi guys, I'm running two buggies that are both equipped with the R204GF-E receivers. I have two different profiles set up on my 3PV Tx but both profiles can control each buggie for some reason. It seems that the receivers are both assigned the same ID. Is this normal? I thought that 2.4ghz systems all have different ID's so as these things couldn't happen.

Recievers get bound to the tx, not the other way around. Probably once a month I'll see someone at the track racing two classes forget to turn off their first car and then drive it off the pit bench when starting to drive the second car on the actual track even though they correctly changed tx profiles.

I think you guys are on to something(?).
I had the HPI SC-3s Brushed ESC -HPI Saturn 15-Turn Motor plugged in this R203GF Receiver (with the 3PV). It ran alright; but I had to set some Sub-Trim on Channel 2.
Now I installed the Hobbywing Xerun 120A v3.1 ESC - Reedy Sonic M3 10.5 Brushless Motor (I have to set some Sub-Trim on Channel 2); but now the Receiver will turn off.
What's go'n on with that? Anyone know?
Thank You

A change in ESC would effect the RX only if it's not feeding that RX enough voltage to function. Since your setup was actually a very common one, that shouldn't be the case but if it is, the issue is likely on the ESC's BEC output side.
What do you mean you had to set some sub-trim? Did you set the ESC to your TX with the TX's setting at all zero or 100 where applicable? If you set the ESC's neutral to neutral on the TX with zero trim/subtrim on the TX when doing so, you should never "need" subtrim.

Thanks for the info; MarkA.
When I set-up the ESC; I had everything on the radio set to 100% - Normal (default factory settings).
(-I had to set some Sub-Trim - Channel 2 when run'n the HPI SC-3s ESC also.)
But this EPA - Channel 1 problem could mean there's a problem with the radio. (can't make changes without holding the Steering Wheel to the right)
I had the radio for 1-year and 3-months. It could be past the warranty period.......?
