yes dave, the fid racing 2 speed holds up really well, its bullet proof.
the shiftpoint is very constant.
( on a sidenote: it's working with a pawl, once its engaged, but the rpm of the engine drops because for example driving up a hill, it stays engaged. you have to lift the throttle trigger, so there is no load on the 2 speed and it shifts down to first gear , thus better gear ratio for lower rpm uphill acceleration until engine reaches higher rev and torque output.
with a 2 speed that is working with clutchshoes even under load its shifting down immediately once the rpm drops, thus less centrifugal force is existing.)
but I really recommend this product!
it's so cool when the 2 speed tranny shifts and the 5ive gain some more speed
