Hmmm, would be a cool layout if it's possible to move everything back a bit. Also interested in standard F / R weight distribution. Think it is front biased too.

I'm right there with you. As long as it pops before the e-cash ends on October 15th I'll be okay. But I'm tired of waiting!
If they don't get it by the 15th I'll probably cancel my order and hit up Amain.

Thanks pretty much the deal with tower hobbies. Dont be surprised if guys who said they ordered something after you actually get there stuff first.

The main reason to go with tower as others have stated is the cheapest price.

For me personaly, I have accepted the fact that it may have to be the second round of Ecash to get it for best price.

I agree. I had much better handling with my other teknos when I removed the rear braces. I was already thinking of removing at least the big one, right off the batt and I haven't even built mine yet.

It looks like the shocks won't even fit with the angle on those turnbuckles.

I'm looking at it as an opportunity to get hop ups before the kit is actually delivered lol. See good in bad.

I had one pre-ordered from Tower. I called today and talked to a customer service representative. I asked them when they were scheduled to get the buggies into the warehouse. The representative said mid October. I asked her if she knew how many they were receiving and if she could tell me where my name was on the back order list. She told me that I was somewhere in the middle and she was not sure if my order would be filled in the first shipment. I checked the AMain web-site and they were still in stock. I used my $25 off coupon code. I cancelled my Tower order and my buggy is already being shipped from AMain.

Tower said any day now. I'm sure the extra day or two are ground travel time to them. If they are gonna stock the kit in their eastern office, that would make sense. If the western warehouse is supposed to receive, they should have them by now. Who knows, they may have them on hand and they just arent in the system yet.

Tekno could tell us if they received them yet if they shipped from ca.

The rear hubs can go on either way, I like them so the camber link hole I'm using is towards the rear. That gives a little more clearance for the camber link at the wheel during full downtravel.

amain's 10% coupon is good on the kit if you haven't used them up (there are 2 of them).

It means nothing. Weight on a carpet car tends to take grip away. Adding it in the back like that also tends to help with rotation. If you look in the back of the AE wheelers they are all running at least 40 grams behind the motot.

For now ignore it unless you run carpet/turf.
