Comes with an 81t spur (Or 80?). There will be an optional 70t spur is for those that want to run 13.5t class. If your going to run mod, stick with stock.

Good luck at the track.
Dunno why you had any trouble with the d413 build. It was a smooth build for me and without anything noteworthy. One of the best quality kits I've ever dealt with. Instructions aren't for the kid or novice so much but are good for an experienced modeler.
The tekno instructions look very well detailed and done with lots of care. They and xray probably have the best on the market at the moment.

In driving this I can tell that there is A LOT of steering however the car drives pretty predictable. I have a 13.5 motor in it and of course it could be more controllable than the 6.0 that I had in my D413.
Also while I was at the track the team drivers did up the weight of the oil in the front shocks because of the amount of steering there was. A lot of people are also turning down the steering EPA on the radios as well.
Overall I am happy with this buggy.. I need to get used to driving a wheeler again but I am not disappointed with it.

Also I do know that even though they have the part numbers the 70 is not on their list of things to order. To try to get the gearing the same as the recommended I went with a 29t pinion.

Your right, I worded it wrong. The 70T is an optional spur that will be available.

I've slowly eliminated them on my baja 5t

Didn't like putting the diffs together.. It took awhile to get the c-clips in the gears and one of them popped off as I was putting it on. 10 mins later I found it on the floor and continued.

install in a large zip lok takes care of the loss issue, in addition to correct handling.

I've almost perfected the art of c-clip installation after years of dealing with it on my DEX210. It's not so bad. I just use a flat head screwdriver and my thumb over the clip

I race on very high grip AstroTurf tracks here in the U.K., it’s quite normal to add weight to the rear to calm the steering down, cars tend to want to fly off the track with the amount of grip we have.

I expected to see a weight like that for a low traction track. That's crazy to see it on a carpet track. Just roughly estimating, I bet that weight makes the car close to 50/50 for the front to rear weight bias.
Anyone on here have their cars ready to race that can toss it on a corner scale to find the front/rear bias? All my math says it has more weight on the front than the rear out of the box, but some real world numbers would be nice.

If you guys experience rear grip issues,as like the 1/8’s cars, it was not designed to run both rear braces. Not to say you couldn’t run both but depends on grip and in most cases both are not used. A little flex is good

Rear shaft angle won't matter. They advertised it as having less than 1 degree of angle for the center driveshafts.
