Running in water. Thing climbs well enough to. When running on water with paddle tries don't let it completely submerge.

You mean it ended up submerged?
It really does seem like a nice, fun car. Just can't really seem to justify getting a non-racer car to myself, since I only really do track driving anyway. And for non-track driving, for the cost of the DB8 I could get a lot of fuel and stuff for my nitro monster truck. Bah. Why can't I be rich?

Ouch, that really sucks
The ESC is "water resistant" but completely sunk, yeah, that'll kill it. Are all the other electronics dead too?
I don't think I'd be confident running over water even with a supposedly completely waterproof car (like my Traxxas 1/16 is technically supposed to be, except for the aftermarket servo I got after the original broke). Given my luck with electronics it'd die anyway!

I got this one https://www.amainhobbies.com/team-associated-xp-10led-aluminum-light-bar-kit-170mm-asc29274/p512323 and it's super durable. Many lid landing and rollovers and it survived. I was surprised at how tough it was

Oops, true, forgot he was running the MMX
The MMX should technically be waterproof, but all the other components being submerged too could cause all sorts of feedback havoc even if water doesn't get inside the ESC, I suppose. Anyway, an even bigger tragedy with more expensive aftermarket electronics dying

I've literally ran my mmx in a bowl of water, but without fan. Theyride height and droop was pretty wrong out of the box, and the manual was wrong.
I posted the numbers I found best on ultimate rc, but that site is currently dead. I'm gonna clean mine up tonight and I'll post the measurements.
