Won the 2017 ROAR Regional race here in that class with one.....coming from quite a distance behind due to an incident early in the race. This was on a large outdoor track too.

Well that could be attributed to a few things other than motor. I'm currently using the Fantom FR-1 Team Works Plus motor. It ran strong the few times I ran this motor. Just looking at having another motor option as the TSR were out of stock most of last winter.

With the rules set in place for 25.5, I think it's pick your favorite brand. They are all so equal. I like the Motiv because I like Paul's business practices. But at the last national event I went to, all the major brands were represented well. Hopefully this becomes true with the new rules put in place for the other winds.

While I respect your thoughts, it was the motor in this case. Though we run a shortened version of this layout for electric, as you can tell, this is motor track. While I have been very impressed with R1 V16 indoors on carpet, the question was, does anyone have experience with TSR. In another case, I chose not to run VTA at an FSEARA state race some months back and another driver asked me if he could borrow the car for the Main. He had never driven the car prior, started last on the field, drove it through the field and won the event. That's some of my personal experience with the TSR. Very pleased with the motor. Hope it helps.

the Reedy Powered Mach 3 25.5 ROAR Spec is the best motor, then Motiv, then Scream, then Fantom, then R1, then Trinity ,then ...you get the point...

oh yeah, the Novak SS is still KING...and Ill put money on that...lol

Never touted it to be the best of the bunch, he just asked for thoughts from those who have used it.

On to my second Mcalister Mustang body. The first is still in pristine shape after several months of running. Just wanted some new paint for the Southern Nationals.
