Default Radio issues

Hello everyone, and anyone. I have a question wondering if anyone can help me out with it. For some strange reason, regardless of my throttle position on the stick, my motor only goes forward. In short weather I push the stick forward or pull it back the motor only goes One Direction. Radio, Spectrum DX8, receiver, Spektrum ar8000 t, ESC, Horizon 60a. Any advice or direction would be helpful, had it working properly at one point.

try re-calibrating the ESC, be sure to follow any specific instructions (if included) such as having the throttle channel reversed, etc... also make sure your throttle trim is centered and use the widest throttle range if you happened to inadvertently changed any of the program settings on the ESC.

Good Luck!

You are using an Air Tx/Rx package. Is there a surface mode on the DX8, or just Heli, Acro, and Quad? If surface mode, then set to "surface", "land", "car" whatever.

Aircraft do not use reverse...

Zero throttle on an aircraft radio is going to be at the bottom of the stick travel. So if you have your throttle stick self centering now, the esc still sees zero at the very bottom. You will need to calibrate your esc, so that it knows that zero throttle is in the middle stick position.
