Default ESC Capacitor Extension

Hi. I have an LRP Flow Works Team and want to cut, join and extend the 2 wires for the capacitor to re-locate it. Is this ok? I won't blow anything up?

Thanks.

I've soldered some capacitors straight to the ESC, and put 2 inches of wire on others and not had any issues.

Some of the Novak ESCs came with the cap wire about 2-3 " long.

While it will cause no harm, you will be reducing some of the capacitance depending on the length and gauge of wire you're using. It should be minimal though.

I do it on every ESC I set up. I like 18g black silicone wire. Just be mindful of POS and NEG polarity as it matters.
