looks awesome!
Can't imagine any other way you'd improve the M05, -this is it.

Finally I will be able to adjust my diff' w/o spending 3hrs taking the entire chassis apart and back together again. Heck, I may be able to even use several diff's and swap in/out during race day depending on the track conditions. I love it!

Looking great! now when can we get it here in US?
Also the gearing seems to be able to go way lower than M05 with a 24t pinion. Even with 20t pinion it still holds tiny advantage over M05. 5.776 vs 5.8 as told from rc racers. So for TCS can we expected to be limited to 20t pinion for M07?

One thing strikes me as odd..

Usually when Tamiya release a chassis.. they either
1. Release a basic chassis plus body
Eg M05 Mini Cooper, XV01 Lancia Delta

2. Release a chassis with blue hop ups and call it pro.. e.g. TA07 Pro, TB04 Pro, XV01 Pro

Here however we have the M07 concept, which is a bare chassis, e.g. no body, albeit blue aluminium motor mount (if it's included). In addition with the release there is a pool of hop ups.

Seems to me that Tamiya is keen on fleecing the m chassis fans

I'm just a little disappointed in the timing (I know Tamiya USA has no control over this). We don't know for sure, but this likely has made the 05 obsolete...requiring the investment right before Nats to be able to compete on an even level. I was looking forward to racing mini at Nats but not really interested in the investment right before all the other costs related to traveling to Cali! Oh well...

But I am happy to see a new M chassis and hopefully a car that can knock the M06 off the top spot on carpet.

Does the stock kit use bearings in the steering bell cranks or does it use something like the step screws in the M-05?

must be either bearing or brass bushing. The hole is too big for step screw.

The M-07 will be available WORLDWIDE on June 25.

See the gearing for the car in the attached image.

5.77 vs 5.79? That's a 0.34% change. Minuscule! Close enough! Dirty bearings or worn tires will make more of a difference.

Thanks for the update.

On a FWD car notorious for wheelspin? Not likely.

Dude, 0.34%. Less than 1/2 of 1%. Less paint will make a bigger difference. Farting at your car as it passes will have more of an effect. The confidence gained by a really good haircut will gain you more time than this.
