Don't run them myself but a friend runs a 1/10 setup in his b6 and it's been great. I am pretty sure it's just rebranded toro equipment - I run a ts120 by toro and it's been awesome. If you get the hobbystar setup suggest going through Rcjuice.com

We are happy to answer any questions you guys have either on this thread or you can always e-mail us directly. Just FYI HobbyStar is NOT re-branded Toro equipment, we are also the largest dealer of SkyRC products in the USA and do sell the Toro equipment but they are in no way related.

Hey Juice, you products look very nice. Do you carry rebuild kits or bearings for the motors? The prices are sure right.

Thank you Ken. Which motor(s) are you referring to? The only spare bearings we carry are the ceramic upgrades for the 540 competition motors, we can get them for any of the motors and do plan on putting them into stock for more of the models at some point here.

Do you know if the hobbystar motors are going to be roar approved at all? I like the price point of them

Yes, we do know that it has been on the high-priority list for some time now. I cannot give an exact date yet but it is coming, that I can promise.

The bearings would be for the 540 competition motors assuming they all used the same size. Is there a source for standard replacement bearings in case I did not want to spring for upgraded bearings? Thanks

I run the sensored system in my 8th latemodel and the 120a in my 4wd buggy. No problemd and plenty of power. Also run their shorty packs in my buggy and they perform very well.
