BK Servos

I searched and couldn't find a thread for this company. I am interested in the surface servos like the one posted below. Although most of the descriptions say they are suitable for Heli, car, and airplanes not just cars.
I believe that Amain is the place to buy them for now.

BK servos used to be seen in Aircraft a few years back, also RJX used to be the same servo, they are made in Taiwan. I think they are new to the car scene.
I got excited as i thought Brian Kinwald had his own line of servos now, lol.

I replaced an rsx2 response servo with the bk ds-7001 in a 4x4 short course truck and like the BK servo more. Maybe there was always something wrong with the ko servo but it never centered that well and the BK servo centers right on the money every time. I don't notice any difference in speed or accuracy between the two.

BK Servos are made Bert Kammerer, Old school Heli guy and hobby business owner. Bert expects the best in everything he does. You should see him fly.
Heli servos are far more demanding than a surface servos (watch Bert fly or Bobby Watts)
I would not hesitate to give em a shot.

BK Servos are a solid choice.
I run one in my ebuggy and it's flawless. A lot of guys at our local track run them because a factory driver runs with us and I have never heard anyone say anything negative about them. Give 'em a shot!
If you're looking for another place to buy them check out www.BeachRC.com as they typically have them in stock. (They did not pay me to say that)

Bringing back from the dead.
A positive write-up.
I bought a 1/8 buggy that came with BK Servo BLS-8001HV installed. Last weekend, a small hiccup at the track caused to strip two teeth off the main horn gear. Yeah, i clipped a pipe
Either way, I bought replacement gears from www.bkhobbies.com. When I received the gears, the main horn gear would not fit. In fact it was .30mm wider than the original. I contacted BK support asking if they could help me. They asked for purchase date and invoice of the servos. They understood that due to the nature of the hobby, many RC parts go to different owners and such. They said that that gear was not the correct one. Today I got an email stating that they are sending me a replacement servo because it was a mixup on their gears and it should have not happen. To be honest, it should not happen that they have to send a new servo because I broke it. Because of their great customer service and support, I will buy their servos over others even if they are slightly more expensive than the norm.
Did I say they are sending a new servo!! Thank you BK.

Not sure what is your purpose, but the BLS8001-HV are the ones I have on my 1/8 Nitro Buggy and work great.
