I have not yet. Is that the combo for $279 and do you have a link? You would chose that combo? This will be my final project for years to come (will use on certain spring/summer weekends), so I want to do it right with no regrets.

Thank you, so you would pick that over my 3 motor/esc combos?

Yes! For sure. Tekin would be my second choice.

I had them all. HW is by far my favorite in terms of quality and reliability. That combo I suggested is a BEAST in the mt410. Motor temps are around 140 deg after hard bashing. With that combo, 17t was too much power. I found 15t pinion was perfect!

Questions??

Is getting the TKR5298 Universal Driveshaft Set (2 or 4 total pieces?) worth it? Think you need TKRBB08165 Ball Bearings (8x16x5, 4pcs) too...

Just spoke with Tekno, these are not needed. Just going with the alum servo horn and steel spur gear. As for body mount posts, I was looking into Pro-Line Racing 6272-00 Extended Front/Rear Body Mounts...are these a good fit?

If your not worried about being waterproof, and guessing your not since only 1 of your options were Wp, Check out

RF-150-8PB

And either of these

I've been running both in my ET48.3 paired with the 1900kv buggy motor and an 18t pinion. I'm guessing to make up for the MT tire size, you may want a 17t pinion. Or go with the 2100kv and be in the 16t range?
