having trouble updating it, i downloaded the software but it wont comunicate with the box, i have the new style box. any ideas?

You try the fan wire port on esc?

Are you trying to connect the PC to the box, or the ESC to the box?

I can program the ESC. I want to upgrade the program box using my PC and hobbywing upgrade software online

I believe you disconnect the ESC and only have the box plugged into the computer. Then there is a separate dropdown memu item to update firmware for the program box only.

ya i only have the box plugged in but it doesnt show me anything in the drop down menu acts like it isnt reading seeing the box.
