I had asked you about an 08 kit before I bought this one. Wanted the cheap deal. Did the Dynamics go on clearance?

The castor blocks from xray are not a direct fit, i never said they were. You will need to change the sleeve to xray sleeves and some sanding and shimming. I know this because ive used them before. Modification of your ride is not a crime, ive seen plenty of pro drivers using products outside of their sponsors. If you think using a different part will make you faster then do it.

Tamiya 418 has the same length of fron belt as the D08 (507) although I've never tried one.

if you're having issues with c hubs and you have not sanded the wheel axle ends, I highly recommend it.

click trak and other track walls with gaps between sections will cause damage at some point.

sand them down until they're about 2mm from the hex, then round them so they'll "skip" through the cracks when you decide to rub the walls.

a dremel with the sanding drum is great for this.

The motor mount is totally different so it can't be done.

I have overlayed the D08 to the D09 chassis, and without modifying the existing D08 mount, it will not work. Besides having to either remove the locating pins from the mount or drilling the D09 chassis for the pins it won't work. Even if this is done, only one screw will line up properly and the forward mount screw will be 1.47mm out of place. I guess you could try running with just one screw holding the mount in place, or force the forward screw in, but then you'll have a bowed chassis. Also without drilling additional holes, you'll loose the ability to add extra screws for flex settings.

If you managed to just screw this on without modifying, I'd like to see it, as I just don't see it being a straight swap.

That's NOT a good news!!! LOL

Anyone swap out the ball cups with any other companies? around here VBC does not exist.. I hoping associated will work, since I have used 5mm ballstuds.
