I know this is from a couple years ago but the mini winner was running an M05 with a TA03 ball diff.

What Tamiya tires work on the new black CRC carpet with an M05?

Alright, I'll plan on getting a TA03 diff for my m05 and put the M05 diff in the M06 I just ordered.

How high do you want to gear your car anyway??
Tobe-Craft was the Japan brand that made the hop up parts. I think I have a set somewhere

This word "current" is debatable...

Ok so list all the "Current" bodies...

It's the body that came with my car. How the hell can it be illegal? It's a Tamiya body from a Tamiya kit.
Someone please explain.
I know this kit and RTR version can still be purchased from various outlets. So I believe it should be legal... even if the body itself might not be available for purchase on its own.

From my experience, licensing agreement with BMW expired and is reason why BMW bodies was not allowed in our Tamiya Asia Cup. Looking at Tamiya Worlds 2016, seems it was not allowed there as well.

That shows a bunch of different mini bodies that have been discontinued. Also the M05 Pro (v1) as shown is also discontinued.

Where can you get the bodies separate from the kits?

These are Tobee Craft gears. I put them in my car once, did a single lap and threw them away. The noise coming from them was HORRENDOUS, it was like a banshee wail and you literally couldn't drive the car.
Awful, awful things they are....
