That's done using shelf liner. You can find it in the kitchen goods section at Walmart, etc. lightly spray through it. Then remove carefully and back with final color. I'd suggest practicing on something first. You only get one shot on your body so you don't want to mess up.

Here's a better photo from later today. NEON Leon!

I don't have pics, but I have seen it. The rear body posts are relocated in board of the shocks.

Thank you,
Where I race they are legal and they are legal for TCS races I will race it at the end of the month at our TCS race. So it may not be USGT. The power that be may need to reconsider it is as much a GT body as any other it was design by a RC GT car designer not a GM, Ford or Toyota it is a real RC race car. It is well designed body and it got me out of the 10 car Cadillac a main. 😂 I'm racing this weekend at 209 Raceway I really likes the old body rules change isn't always a good thing.

Why'd they outlaw that body? I just bought this body a couple months ago for usgt.

It was on the list last year I believe but they removed it this year when they heard you bought it.

I think once a body is on the list it should be grandfathered in unless it is specifically banned. just my opinion .....

That body never made it on our list. Its not a real car per Fred from Tamiya so we are thats why its not on the list. Now thats not to say that if you ask your local track if you can use it but just know that per the national rules its not legal.

Essentially it's still up to the track owner on what body's they will allow. It's been pretty lenient. Juan is using a body that's no longer available that looks really cool and it's not on the list. We let him run it because we feel sorry for him.
